RACE APPEAL No#001 ROUND 1 2008

- LFS USERNAME FOR ANY DRIVER/S INVOLVED: kart608 (#11 PRT Sitter) and jasonmatthews (#17 [SR] Turkey)

- LAP THAT THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON:
1

- DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT: kart608 suddenly moved up the oval banking for, hitting jasonmatthews, which sent him into the top wall of the oval.

REVIEW:
Following a review of the race replay, from multiple views and cameras, oneGP believes that the contact in this situation involved several factors:

1 - Possible minor contact between [AA] Slen and PRT Sitter.
2 - Some lag at start and during the reported incident for PRT Sitter.
3 - The position of [SR] Turkey's car in relation PRT Sitter [front-right wheel just in line with left-rear of PRT Sitters car] resulting in reduced visiblity for PRT Sitter

Conclusion: RACING INCIDENT WITH MINOR WARNING
While avoidable, the incident was the outcome of several factors and did not totally result from the driving standards of PRT Sitter.
A minor warning will be issued to PRT Sitter (regarding possible lag, and movement of car on banking)

RACE APPEAL NO#002 ROUND 1 2008

- LFS USERNAME FOR ANY DRIVER/S INVOLVED:
Martini.Niko and FLP/r Jouman

- LAP THAT THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON: 1

- DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT: contact between Martini.Niko and FLP/r Jouman

REVIEW:
Following a review of the race replay, from multiple views and cameras, oneGP believes that the contact in this situation involved several factors:

1- FLP/r Bateman moving in front of FLP/r Jouman and causing him to slow
2- FLP/r Jouman being off the regular racing line
3- Martini.Niko's failure to react and appy brakes before contact

Conclusion:
AVOIDABLE MINOR INCIDENT - DRIVE THRU PENALTY (30secs post race)

Although the incident was in part due to the racing of both FLP/r cars causing FLP/r Jouman to slow slightly, Martini.niko's failure to react and apply brakes lead to the contact between himself and FLP/r Jouman - a post race 30sec penalty will be applied to Martini.Niko's time

RACE APPEAL NO#004 ROUND 1 2008

- LFS USERNAME FOR ANY DRIVER/S INVOLVED: [AA] Martini and FLP/r Jouman

- LAP THAT THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON: 13

- DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:
contact between [AA] Martini and FLP/r Jouman

REVIEW:
Following a review of the race replay, from multiple views and cameras, oneGP believes that the contact in this situation involved several factors:

1- FLP/r Jouman exiting last turn with a lower speed to [AA] Martini
2- Both drivers failing to adjust to the changing amount of racing room, with FLP/r Jouman closing the line on [AA] Martini, and [AA] Martini not being far enough alongside to claim the race line.
3- [AA] Martini's lack of reaction (by either lifting throttle or applying brake) as FPL/r Jouman closed the racing line.

Conclusion: AVOIDABLE MINOR INCIDENT - DRIVE THRU PENALTY (30secs post race)

While it was partially the involvement of both drivers, [AA] Martinis noted lack of reaction was the cause of the incident - A post race 30sec penalty will be applied to [AA] Martini's time. - NOTE: as [AA] Martini was a DNF for round, the post race penalty will be applied by [AA] Martini starting the next race from the pitlane.

THIS CONCLUDES ALL ROUND ONE APPEALS

RACE APPEAL No#005 ROUND 2 2008

- LFS USERNAME FOR ANY DRIVER/S INVOLVED: slen ([AA] N.Garrison) and junkan ([SR] J.Mäkelä)

- LAP THAT THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON: 4

- DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT: Just after the start line, with junkan in his draft, slen lifted off the throttle, brake testing junkan and sending him into the back of slen.

REVIEW:
Following a review of the race replay, from multiple views and cameras, oneGP believes that the contact in this situation involved several factors:

1 - Slens mistake through last turn possibly still trying to recover himself.
2 - Possible driver error

Conclusion: RACING INCIDENT WITH MINOR WARNING

While avoidable, the incident was deemed to be more than likely unintentional and a result of driver error more so than any intentional attempt to cause an incident between the two drivers. Also the fact that slen suffered much more time lost as a result of incident the review board has decided that an official warning is the most appropriate outcome for this incident.

Round 3 Qualifying Rules Infringements - Penalties.

3f: No driver is to block messages at any time, during qualifying or race events. Doing so limits race admins ability to inform drivers of situations such as under safety car or any penalities that may be being given. Admin will always ensure no chatting during race events, so as such blocking of messages should never be required.

pearcy_2k7 - blocked msgs: warning
aLpine159 - blocked msgs: warning
evilpimp - blocked msgs: warning
jasonmatthews - blocked msgs: warning

_______________________________________________________

9a: Qualifying will run for 15minutes. During this time no driver is to use Shift P or Shift S while on track, and must return to pitlane before using any of these type commands. This therefore requires that proper inlaps and outlaps are done. This is to avoid distraction to other drivers on track, and create a more realistic qualifying session.

pearcy_2k7 - 4 x shift-p on track: 10 Second racetime penalty
jasonmatthews - 2 x shift-p on track: 10 Second racetime penalty
Thunderhead - 2 x shift-p on track: 10 Second racetime penalty
Dicey - 2 x shift-s on track: 10 Second racetime penalty
aLpine159 - shift-p on track: 10 Second racetime penalty

These penalties have been given where no effort was made to recover
car and driver has teleported, to spectate or pits, near instantly.

NOTE: In future these 10sec penalties will be accumlitive.

Race results and standings will be changed to reflect these penalties
